MHS Alumni Football Team

Manchester High's Alumni team performed very well in the recent Alumni Tournament in Lauderhill, Florida. Our first game we lost 1-0 to KC, then tied ST GEORGES 0-0. The third game we won 1-0 over Calabar advancing to the quarterfinals where we beat Wolmers 1-0. We advanced to the semi-finals losing on penalties to eventual champions Ruseas. I've been told Calabar will be hosting a similar tournament in December, also in South Florida and hopefully we will also enter a competitive team. My club team trains every Thursday at Pine Island Park in Plantation, Florida at 8.30pm, and any MHS alumni that wants to train/run in preparation for that tournament and others is welcome.
